Domain Name Registration and Management

If your web site is hosted with Raven Studioz, we may have registered your domain name for you, in your name, on your behalf, with our registrar, or you may have registered your domain name yourself with your own registrar.

If we registered your domain name for you, and are managing the domain name renewal, we will bill you for your domain name annually, unless your annual fee is included with your hosting fee. You can log into the customer management area to check the status of your domain name.

If you registered your domain name with another domain name registrar, please do pay attention to your renewal e-mails from your domain name registrar. If your domain name is not renewed through your registrar, your site will vanish from the internet.

Please be aware that there are numerous scams regarding domain names. If we registered your domain name for you, and bill you, you will never receive a legitimate bill for your domain name from anyone else. If you accidentally respond to a bill from another domain name registrar, they may attempt to take control over your domain name. Be confident, the domain name system allows your domain name to remain locked so that it cannot be transferred without proper authorization. You may, however, not be able to get any fees you accidentally paid to another domain name registrar refunded to you.
